SEMINATEC 2022 is a continuation of previous workshops, all focused on technology trends in the areas of micro and nanotechnology. This year, the event will be virtual. The Workshop's objective is to promote the interaction among industry, academy, research & development centers, government, and students, all looking for real opportunities towards improving education, research, and technology. The XVI SEMINATEC welcomes the submission of original papers in all areas related to semiconductors, optoelectronic devices, optics, fabrication of micro & nano-structures, microsystems, devices, and integrated circuits. We also encourage participation in works in the area of device modeling, CAD and simulation. Para celebrar o dia mundial da energia (29/05), o ramo estudantil IEEE Unifap promove o webinar que será apresentado por José Carlos Garcia Andrade, doutor em engenharia elétrica pela Unicamp e revisor do periódico IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery. Neste evento, será abordado métodos de regulação de tensão quando há elevada penetração de microgeradores fotovoltaicos. Assunto bastante pertinente nos dias de hoje, uma vez que cada vez mais o uso de microgeradores fotovoltaicos está se popularizando entre a sociedade brasileira. Assim, o evento é bastante importante para engenheiros e técnicos eletricistas entenderem como a disseminação desses microgeradores pode afetar a qualidade da energia elétrica.
