What is the Student Branches Regional Meeting?
The IEEE Regional Student Branches Meeting (SBRM) is the most impactful student event in the Region. It provides a space for training, meeting and develop soft and hard skills to all volunteers The event is an opportunity to bring together student and professional leaders from all Sections of Region 9, promoting opportunities for networking, training and celebrating activities carried out during the year. The event has taken place annually since 1999 and has a rotating venue, where each year a Section and/or country can host it. Among the countries that have already received the SBRM in its more than 28 years are Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Bolivia, Guatemala..
2025 is its 28th Edition.
